Happy Mother with her Child
I began training with Rob when I was around six months pregnant with my first child. I’d never worked with a personal trainer before and had visions of being shouted at, whilst doing press-ups, but I needed someone to help me exercise safely! The good news is, that whilst there are occasional press-ups, there’s absolutely never any shouting! By the time my daughter was due, I felt stronger and more stable than I had done before I was pregnant, and I used to exercise at least four times a week. I also ended up having to have a c-section and I am sure my work with Rob aided my recovery. I went back to Rob when I could, and two years later I’m continuing to develop strength and flexibility, and I’ve gained a friend too! I’m also now pregnant again, and there’s no one else I’d trust to train with to ensure that I have a healthy pregnancy.

What I really like about training with Rob is that if I have little niggles and pains, there's a lot of things he suggests, to get rid of them, without taking away from the sessions.

When I first approached the idea of personal training, it was a bit intimidating. Rob really made it easy for me, to ease all of those concerns. It felt very welcoming.

Having never been into physical training before, Rob's classes, particularly the mobility class, have been an absolute blessing during lockdown. He has that rare combination of super clear explanations and insights, with an easy and warm energy that makes you feel immediately comfortable and in control.
